Things to know:
Due to extreme cold, the band booster meeting scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 15th at 7 pm in the band room.
See you then!
It is coming! The Band and the Swing Choir will be performing at a large festival in Chicago on May 23.
The great thing is, the School Board has approved our proposal to make this into a mini-musical adventure. We will leave Bremen on Friday, May 22, and return on Monday, May 25. While we cannot guarantee it until they are officially booked, this mini-trip could include the performance, a trip to Six Flags Great America, a performance by Blue Man Group, a performance by Comedy Sportz, trips to Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and Ed Debevics. As you can see, this will be an amazing experience for our students!
While final costs will depend on the number of students going, we anticipate a cost per student between $300 and $350 per student. This cost would include lodging at a nice hotel for 3 nights, most meals, tickets to every event, and their performance at the festival. Payments of approximately $100 will be due at the end of January, February, and March
Students who cannot afford the entire trip will be able to attend only the performance on Saturday for approximately $50.
The first week in January (date yet to be set), there will be a parent/student meeting at the school to provide more information and answer all questions. Watch here for details!

Our annual Fall Concert is here! On Thursday, November 7th at 7:00 pm every part of the Bremen Band Program will be performing in Bowen Auditorium. There will be all kinds of music to listen to, and a great chance to see how our students are developing in their programs. The event is free, and we would love to see you there!
For parents of students in the program, here is what you need to know:
Last week for the 2nd time in 3 years (and only the third time ever), the Emerald Alliance moved on out of Regional Competition. This Saturday, our band will be performing at the ISSMA Open Class Semi-State Competition at Franklin Community High School in Franklin, IN.
Things to Know
Students will be outside the entire day, rain or shine; bring sunscreen, warm clothing, or umbrellas as necessary.
Lunch and dinner is generously being provided by the school. Your child does not need to bring money for this day.
Students are required to ride the bus to and from all contests. Exceptions can only be made in the case of athletic conflicts where the student is catching up with us, or emergencies. Please see Mr. Sutton for details on a specific situation.
Students should wear their show shirts to every competition, along with shorts, black socks, and their marching shoes.
